1. Who we are and who the service is for
The site is operated by Cristiano Della Portella, VAT number 18474191006, operating office at Via Ippolito Nievo 61, 00153 Roma (RM) ("MedNexus").
The catalogue is aimed mainly at professionals, healthcare facilities, laboratories and businesses. Prices are shown excluding VAT unless stated otherwise.
2. MedNexus' role: intermediary
MedNexus acts as an intermediary: it connects buyers with the supplier of the products and handles the quote request, the order and related support.
The contract of sale is concluded between the buyer and the seller named on each product sheet ("Seller" field). MedNexus is not the manufacturer of the products and, unless expressly named as the seller, is not a party to the contract of sale.
The seller, distributor and manufacturer of each product are shown on its sheet.
3. Products and information
Product sheets contain information supplied by the manufacturer and the supplier. They may be updated without notice; the order confirmation or the accepted quote prevails.
Some products are configurable or available on quote only: price, delivery times and conditions are then given in the quote.
4. Quotes, orders and conclusion of the contract
- A quote request is binding on neither the buyer nor the seller.
- An order sent from the site is an offer to buy. The contract is concluded when the seller, directly or through MedNexus, confirms the order.
- If a product is unavailable or the price shown contains an obvious error, the order may be cancelled and any payment refunded.
5. Prices and payment
Card payments are processed by Stripe; card data never passes through MedNexus servers. The amount includes VAT and shipping where applicable, shown before you confirm the order.
Invoices are issued by the party named in the order. To receive a company invoice, enter the correct tax details when ordering.
6. Delivery
Delivery times shown are estimates and not binding unless confirmed in writing. Check the goods on delivery and report any damage immediately, with a written reservation on the delivery note.
7. Right of withdrawal (consumers only)
If you buy as a consumer you may withdraw within 14 days of receiving the products, without giving a reason, under the Italian Consumer Code (arts. 52 ff.), subject to the legal exceptions (for example custom-made products, or sealed products that cannot be returned once opened for hygiene reasons).
To withdraw, write to the contacts at the bottom of this page quoting the order number. Buyers acting for professional purposes have no right of withdrawal.
8. Warranty, support and complaints
Products are covered by the statutory warranty of conformity under the applicable law and by any manufacturer warranty shown on the product sheet. For professional purchases the Italian Civil Code rules apply.
To report a defect or complain, write to the contacts below with the order number and, if possible, photos of the problem.
9. Medical devices and professional use
Some products are medical devices or equipment for professional use. They must be used only by qualified staff and according to the manufacturer's instructions. Information on the site does not replace the advice of a healthcare professional.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, MedNexus is not liable for damage caused by use of the products contrary to the instructions, or for delays or failures caused by force majeure or third parties (carriers, manufacturers, suppliers). Liability that cannot be excluded by law remains unaffected.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Italian law. For consumers, the courts of their place of residence or domicile remain competent. For professional buyers the courts of Rome are competent, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
